Saint Francis County, AR Inmate Search

To conduct a Saint Francis County offender search for inmates held in the county jail, you can proceed with one of the following two options.

The first option is to visit the online webpage with the county’s inmate roster. Saint Francis’s website is often updated with new information about the people being held at their jail. The website is user-friendly, with a three-step process for locating an inmate.

  • Step one: Visit the Saint Francis online roster.
  • Step two: Enter the inmate’s name in the search bar.
  • Step three: Scroll the list if you get multiple hits. It happens if the inmate you are searching for has the same name as other offenders in the facility.

The website provides a mugshot and the details of the arrest.

Option two of conducting a Saint Francis offender search is calling or visiting the detention facility. Visit the facility at 313 S Izard St, Forrest City, AR 72335, or call 870-633-2611.

The county does not have state prisons, requiring some inmates under the Arkansas Department of Corrections to finish their sentence out of the county. To locate such inmates, follow these steps;

  1. Visit the D.O.C. inmate search website.
  2. Select Saint Francis county
  3. Enter the inmate’s details available to you; this includes Age, gender, race, offense, A.D.C. number, facility, and name.
  4. Select if to include the inmate’s mugshot or not.
  5. Read the department’s disclaimer.
  6. Accept the disclaimer.
  7. Click search.

Saint Francis County Jail

Sheriff Bobby May is in charge of the prison. The Saint Francis County Jail is the most significant correctional facility in the county. The jail holds inmates with brief sentences and those awaiting trial. All the corrections officers are under his supervision, with Jonnie Jones, the jail administrator, overseeing the facility’s day-to-day operations.

The prison has an automated fingerprint identification system. The system allows the facility to quickly match the fingerprint of an inmate brought to the facility with fingerprints on the VINE database.

Prisoners arrested by other law enforcement agencies, such as the department of immigration and the Drug Enforcement Agency, are at times held in the facility. They only stay for a short period before the agency with authority moves them.

The Detention Center can accommodate 114 inmates. It can house a hundred adult males, eight females, and six juvenile males. At present, the facility is holding ninety-seven adult inmates.

Qualified inmates under the Arkansas D.O.C. serving their sentence in the county jail can enroll in the 309 program. Through the program, these inmates can participate in general housekeeping tasks like cooking and laundry in exchange for pay or a reduction in their sentence.

Saint Francis county jail also has a work release program, allowing inmates with misdemeanor charges to work off their sentence or fine by cleaning county roadways.

Inmates in the facility can have visits on Saturdays. The schedule for the inmate visits is as follows;

  • Female prisoners can receive prisoners between 9:00 a.m and 9:15 a.m
  • Juvenile offenders: 9:15 a.m- 9:30 a.m
  • Adult males can receive visitors between 9:30 a.m and 11 a.m and again between 1:00 p.m and 3:00 p.m
  • Inmates under the D.O.C. receive visitors from 3:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m.
