Other Prisons/Jails

Other correctional facilities in the county include:

Bigelow Jail

The Bigelow jail is a city jail located in PO Box 177, Bigelow, AR, 72016. It houses and transports inmates in preparation for their court cases. The short-term facility doesn’t offer long-term incarceration amenities, and services like sending mail are limited.

To locate an inmate in the facility, call 501-759-3080 or visit the website.

Perryville Jail

This jail offers a pay-to-stay arrangement for men and women sentenced to prison, but they wish to serve their time outside the Perry County jail. The overpopulation at the county jail means that once an inmate gets approval to go to the Perryville jail, they can serve their time from the facility.

Also, the inmates can spread their jail time and serve a day or two at a time. It allows them to go home to their families or work engagements before serving another day of their sentence. Once they’ve obtained approval, inmates can stay at the jail in separate sleeping areas away from other inmates.

For more information on the facility, visit 613 North Fourche Avenue, PO Box 116, Perryville, AR, 72126, or call 501-889-2862.

Because of a high turnover in the facility, there’s no online search option. Thus, you should direct all inquiries through the given phone number. Ensure that before you make the call, you have the inmate’s legal name and DOB.
