To find an offender in any of the prisons in Grant County, you’ll need the county’s jail roster. You can download a copy of the roster from the sheriff’s website or access a hard copy from the detention offices.

Alternatively, you can use the online county’s inmate search engine to locate an inmate without going through the jail roster. How?

Step 1

You’ll need the following;

  • The inmate’s full name
  • The inmate’s identification number (not necessary)

Having an inmate’s ID can make the search easier and more accurate.

Step 2

Visit the Grant county office website. Click the ‘Grant County Inmate Search & Jail Roster’ section. It will take you to the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC) search page.

Type the inmate’s information in the prompt boxes. Under the county section, select Grant county to narrow the search and click the search button.

Tips: If you don’t have the inmate’s ID number during your offender search, you can use other identifiers like race, gender, offense category, criminal charge, date of arrest, and age.

Step 3

You’ll have to accept the agreement notification pop-up to access the records. The notification is to remind you the inmate’s data may not be accurate as presented at the moment.

Click the inmate’s name, mugshot, or identification number to view the profile.

To access the jail roster, you can visit the sheriff’s office at 101 West Center Street, Sheridan, Arkansas, 72150. Or call the office via 870-942-2101 or 870-942-5039 with the offender’s name to receive the inmate’s details.

Please, don’t use an inmate’s records for anything illegal. The Arkansas correctional department has strict rules to protect offenders and their families from threats.
