About Carroll County Detention 

The Sheriff’s Office manages Carroll County Detention Center, AR. It is located at 205 Hailey Road, Berryville, AR, 72616-5147. The facility is a medium-security facility holding adult convicts. In exchange for good conduct, the convicts may get trustee status or have their sentences reduced.

Q: When do I visit? 

A: You can visit an inmate from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekends. The visits are 20 minutes long. You may only see a prisoner if your name is on their visiting list. The Inmates may create the list after they are processed and the management approves it.

A: You cannot call a prisoner in jail. However, they can contact you daily between 6:00 a.m., and 11:30 p.m. Telephones are either collect-call or pre-paid accounts. You may purchase minutes for an inmate’s usage for pre-paid accounts by contacting Legacy Inmate Communications at 888-729-4326. For security concerns, the management monitors the conversations. 

Q: How can I send money to an inmate? 

A: You can deposit the Carroll County Jail inmate commissary using the Access Corrections service provider’s website. Call them at 866-345-1884 for more details. You can also use a kiosk located in the foyer. 

Q: When and how may I bring court apparel to an inmate? 

A: You may drop clothes for an inmate’s court appearance during visiting hours or drop them off in the office during working hours. The staff inspects the personal apparel for illegal items. They must reach the facility at least seven days before a court hearing. The individual bringing the clothes must provide identification.
